Hello again from Pune.
I have not written in sometime for the very reason it really takes some time to absorb things here then put some of these experiences into words.
The Iyengar's have been amazing in their teaching and have been an endless well of giving.
As some of you know their are some folks from San Francisco and San Diego here like Paul Pisacane, Rebecca Taggart, Eddy Marks, Mary Obendorfer just to name a few.
Its always nice to be able to connect with familiar faces and meet new ones as well.
As my time is running short here I am reminded how much I do not know and how vast this art and science really is.

It was a blessing to have interactions with Guruji, I have learned so much from him.
Their is something to be said about being close to him and witnessing a true master who loves his art and shares everything without holding back.
As Guruji comes close to his 88th Birthday December the 14th please join me in dedicating our practice to him on that auspicious day.
Practice with Joy and awareness.

A few days to settle in.

Well, I have finally arrived here and slowly recovering from a long flight.
The weather is perfect not to hot not to cold, it about 80 degrees here which I happen to like.
Some noticeable changes here in Pune such as new buildings have gone up in the neighborhood and the Institute as well has some changes.
All in all I am happy to be here. I started classes the other day and Geetaji mop the floor with us. It was quite cleansing I must say and humbling as well. Just when you thought you really had an understanding about Uttitha Trikonasana you get thrown thru a loop.
I guess thats one of the reasons why I am here per say and why teachers and students make the journey here which is to go to the source.
Prashantaji is in great form as well with his wonderful ways of leading us thru a 2 -hour journey thru unknown depths which I have not previously come into contact with.
I look forward to what tomorrow offers, whether it's the interesting aromas in the air or the unsually consistant sounds of horn honking or 5am bhajans in the distance.
Their really is no other place like this.
practice, practice, practice..
